Please join Bern’s Fine Wines & Spirits for a Crush Hour featuring Champagnes.

Associated with luxury, celebration, and romance, the region, Champagne, is home to the world’s most prized sparkling wine. Made up of the three towns Reims, Épernay, and Aÿ, it was here that the traditional method of sparkling wine production was both invented and perfected.

Five cheeses from the Bern’s Cave du Fromage will be paired with the wines, along with house made breads. The price is $25.00 per person. Reservations are requested and seats are limited, book your seat by hitting the link.

    Featured Wines

Laurent Perrier La Cuvee Brut  -$39.95
Lightly toasty and vibrant, this balanced Champagne carries flavors of melon, black currant, lemon preserves and smoky mineral on a fine, lively mousse. 90 points Wine Spectator

    Laurent Perrier Ultra Brut  -$59.95
Ultra Brut, the original no-dosage Champagne, is the name and that’s just how this bone-dry wine tastes. It's totally crisp, fruity, structured and fresh. Acidity from tight citrus combines with apples and pears to produce a wine that offers both fruitiness and dryness. 93 points Wine Enthusiast

    Laurent Perrier Rose -$64.95
Firm and finely knit, this offers richness in a sleek frame, with crushed raspberry, blood orange peel, smoke and toasted almond notes set on the satiny mousse. The finish echoes subtle saffron and spice accents. 92 points Wine Spectator

    J Lasalle Preference Brut -$48.95
This small, family owned Champagne house is run by a mother-daughter team, dedicated to the ancient methods of champagne making taught to them by the late Jules Lassalle, husband and father. 91 point Wine Spectator

2010 Champagne Leclerc Briant Brut Millesime -$73.95
This wine shows unexpected richness for an Extra Brut thanks to 80-100 months aging on its lees before disgorgement and the ripe character that comes with an opulent vintage like 2009. An expansive nose of lemon curd, white flowers and bread notes leads to a palate that shows a mouth coating richness and a lingering saltiness on the finish.

Champagne Leclerc Briant Rose Brut -$62.95
Brut Rosé is racy and high-toned thanks to its high percentage of Chardonnay with just 5% Pinot Noir providing a pale melon color. The wine is firmly dry while showing the texture and richness that comes from nearly three years aging on its lees. High energy and nerve are the lasting impressions of any Leclerc Briant Champagne.
