    Winemaker Notes
Medium-bodied. Rhubarb, Pink Lady apple fruits – supplemented by a distractional splash of the savory, and a bonus swirl of spice! A continuum of fine, granular tannins courts a balanced structure and a confident finish.

    94: Australian Wine Companion
Sourced from the Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale, Padthaway and Langhorne Creek; matured for 12 months in used American hogsheads handed down from prior duties with Grange, Bin 389 and so forth. Healthy and deep colour, it has a rich bouquet with licorice, spice, dark chocolate and blackberry all in unison. Good stuff indeed, with the savoury/inky/graphite impact of the very long, balanced medium to fullbodied palate. This could well evolve into one of the great Bin 28s.

    92: James Suckling
This has some attractive playful raspberry fruit, chalky and restrained, gently fragrant, it is a chiseled and nicely pitched mid-weight red. The palate has red-tinged berry fruit flavors, earthy beetroot, gentle herbs, quite elegant, mid weight, pure and even. Some good chalky tannin texture, nicely balanced, red fruit finish, elegant and fine.
