Chateau Talbot Saint Julien Connetable 2009

Quite elegant here in terms of texture; I would say it has reached a good level of maturity, I think the tannins are perfectly integrated here, we have a rather dense core of fruit, a combination of dark and red berries with cassis, red currant, plum. No green is here but rather mild spices like clove, vanilla. Fine wood as well; it’s a quite silky texture. Fine notes of tobacco, classic medium weight, no heaviness, good freshness all along, and a long clear finish. Very classic style, very stylish.
