Château L'Evangile Pomerol 2003
The wine is delightful, fresh and delicate. A solid backbone with fine, firm tannins. Fig and violet notes accompany the silky structure of this wine made for ageing. Wine Spectator Plenty of plum and spice with hints of licorice. Medium- to full-bodied, with silky tannins and a fresh finish. Slightly hollow center palate, but should fill in nicely. Score range: 89-91. Score: 91. —James Suckling, June 30, 2004. |
