Castello del Terriccio Tassinaia 2002
Purple red in colour. Very intense, elegant nose. Tassinaia reveals red and black forest fruits on the nose, with hints of tobacco. On the palate, the discreet acidity of Sangiovese mingles with the rich tannic weave and a power that speaks volumes about the wine's ageing potential. Wine Enthusiast This is a 40-30-30% blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot that is rich in floral and herbal notes. Rosemary, sage, violets, figs, plum and licorice aromas are harmonious and well-integrated thanks to 14 months of oak aging. Allow the wine a few minutes to open in the glass.
