Mauro, the company's most emblematic wine, structured, balanced, smooth and full of mature fruit, well reflect the evolution and idiosyncrasy.
Wine Advocate The 2004 Crianza, from what appears to be a great vintage, is opaque purple in appearance. It emits scintillating aromas of smoke, toast, herbs, kirsch, and black fruits. It is a full-bodied, large-scaled effort with oodles of fruit and enough structure to age effortlessly for 6-8 years and drink well for a decade thereafter. Score: 92. —Jay Miller, February 2007.Wine Enthusiast Sweet, succulent aromas draw you in and while the wine doesn’t deliver much nuance on either the nose or palate, we can’t quibble with the power, purity and intensity of the blackberry fruit.
