Havens Napa Valley Syrah 2000
This wine has a dense core of spicy, blackcurrant and bramble fruit overlaid with nuances of coffee, chocolate and tobacco. Multi layered and very complex, this wine needs serious food to compliment it. Wine Enthusiast Opens with powerful aromas of white pepper, accented with blackberry and new oak. Clearly a young and vibrant wine, with blackberry and spice flavors and some pretty strong tannins. If you drink it now, do so with lamb, rib roasts and similar fare.
