Domaine Ruinart
Ruinart Rosé, a fine, elegant champagne with the distinctive Ruinart taste due to a high concentration of Chardonnay grapes. A beautiful color of pinkish gold. A smooth, balanced, fruity wine with plenty of body. An ideal evening aperitif. At table the finesse of this champagne will go wonderfully with the freshness of a delicious andalusian gaspacho.
Wine Spectator
A fresh, elegant rosé, with just a hint of strawberry and cherry flavors, while the citrus and smoke notes dominate. Very refined and well-integrated, with a firm aftertaste of cherry and spice. Best from 2010 through 2030.

Wine Advocate
The 1996 Brut Dom Ruinart Rose is a dense, shut-down wine that needs serious time in the cellar to come together. With additional bottle age, the Pinot character should emerge, as it almost always does. For now, this remains a structured Rose that only occasionally reveals the brilliance that it appears capable of, yet all of the ingredients are present for the 1996 to emerge as a brilliant Dom Ruinart Rose. Accordingly, my score represents the wine’s potential at maturity rather than where it is today. This is Lot: ADONA6, disgorged October 2006. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2026.

Wine Enthusiast
Shot through with minerality, almost flinty, this wine shows its vintage well. The red fruit element is now only a small part of what is now a fully mature wine. But the steely edge and tannic structure show that it will age, probably 10 years or more.

Sustainable practices incorporate organic standards and may exceed them and include ecologically and socially sound business practices such as fair pay for farm workers and energy conservation.
Screw Cap
Wines sealed with a screw cap as opposed to a cork, which experts report protects and preserves wine more effectively than does a cork, while also eliminating the possibility of cork taint.
No Sulfites
All wines naturally contain some sulfites, however wines that contain less than 10 parts per million sulfites are not required to include "Contains Sulfites" on their labels.

I still believe it is the simplest way to rate a wine, with its origins from grade school in the United States. A wine that I rate 90 points or more is outstanding (A), and worth buying. If I rate a wine 95 points or more (A+), it is a must buy.
