2006 Domaine Serene “Winery Hill Vineyard” Pinot Noir $79.95
“The 2006 Pinot Noir Winery Hill Vineyard is sourced from Dijon clones planted in 2000 and 2001. It was fermented with 3.5% stems for additional spiciness. Dark ruby-colored, it offers up a spicy, cigar box perfume along with expressive blue and black fruits. On the palate it is quite dense and weighty with layers of savory dark fruit flavors bordering on opulence. This rich wine has a finish lasting for nearly a minute. Drink it from 2012 to 2020.” 94 Points Robert Parker
2007 Domaine Serene “Grace Vineyard” Pinot Noir $125.95
“My personal favorite of the collection (and the winery’s as well, based on price) is the 2007 Pinot Noir Grace Vineyard. Dark ruby-colored, it offers up a beautifully complex aromatic array of pain grille, sage, thyme, incense, rose petal, raspberry, and cherry. It has the most depth, structure, and concentration of these wines, succulent fruit, impeccable balance, and a 60-second finish. It is a candidate for wine of the vintage in 2007.” 93 Points Robert Parker
2004 Domaine Serene “Mark Bradford Vineyard” Pinot Noir $95.95
“Supple and generous, with ripe currant and blackberry flavors that persist into the long, nicely focused, smooth-textured finish. The tannins are nicely submerged. This has miles to go before it shows all it has. Best from 2009 through 2014. 300 cases made.” 93 Points Wine Spectator
2006 Domaine Serene “Evenstad Reserve” Pinot Noir $59.95
“Smooth and round, with a lovely polished feel to the dark berry, cherry, licorice and spice flavors, flowing easily over finely tuned tannins, persisting expressively. Drink now through 2016.” 92 Points Wine Spectator
2007 Domaine Serene Clos du Soleil Chardonnay $39.95
“Polished and round, with a spicy edge to the pear and cream flavors, lingering on the well-buffed finish. Drink now through 2013. 350 cases made.” 92 Points Wine Spectator
2006 Domaine Serene “Mark Bradford Vineyard” Pinot Noir $95.95
“The 2006 Pinot Noir Mark Bradford Vineyard is the densest and richest of these wines. The nose exhibits pain grille, mineral, black cherry, and blueberry. This is followed by a layered, savory, spicy, dark-fruited wine with exceptional depth and a pure finish. Give it 3-4 years of additional bottle age and drink it from 2012 to 2024.” 93+ Points Robert Parker
2003 Rockblock “Seven Hills Vineyard” Syrah $39.95
“Polished, ripe and spicy, offering nutmeg and exotic spice elements to the black plum and toasty, smoky flavors that run through the long, silky finish. Best from 2007 through 2013. 650 cases made.” 91 Points Wine Spectator
2007 Domaine Serene “Yamhill Cuvee” Pinot Noir $34.95
“The dark ruby-colored 2007 Pinot Noir Yamhill Cuvee offers up a superb bouquet of smoke, cinnamon, rose petal, cherry, and cranberry. Spicy, expressive, and medium-bodied on the palate, it displays a racy personality marked by savory flavor, vibrant acidity, good depth, and enough structure to evolve for 1-2 years. Drink this tasty effort through 2017. 90 Points Robert Parker
2007 Domaine Serene Coeur Blanc $79.95
“Domaine Serene makes this white version of Pinot Noir using techniques borrowed from white Burgundy: aging on lees (i.e., spent yeasts) and barrel fermentation. The result is a lightly oaky white with notes of figs and wild strawberries.” Food & Wine
2003 Rockblock “Del Rio Vineyard” Syrah $39.95
“Vibrant black cherry, dark plum, grilled meats, flint and cassis. The palate is rich and intense, showing ample sweet cherry, marionberry, dried plum, graphite, smoke and flint with powerful structure and wonderful length.” Winemaker’s Tasting Notes
2004 Rockblock “SoNo” Syrah $29.95
“Aromas of ripe cherry, asian spices, lavender, black olive and tobacco. The silky textured palate displays black cherry, cola, anise, dried plum and toast with fine tannins.” Winemaker’s Tasting Notes
